VICaP — Faith in Action Ministry
VICaP Ministry Member Information
VICAP (Volunteer Interfaith Caregivers) are an interdenominational group of volunteers who live out their faith and make a difference to the homebound and/or disabled members of our community. Volunteers receive training, supervision, and insurance. Volunteers offer services such as shopping, transportation to and from doctor’s appointments, friendly visiting, respite assistance and minor home repair.
This ministry helps homebound elders and disabled adults to remain in their own homes. Our services include visiting, phoning, home repairs, grocery shopping, transportation, respite assistance and business help.
Our Goals…
- To provide volunteer opportunities for people to make meaningful contributions to the quality of life in their communities
- To enable homebound and /or disabled adults to continue living independently.
