Sacristans Ministry

The service of the sacristan includes preparing the altar for daily and Sunday Masses; setting up the vessels, hosts, and wine needed for the Mass as well as cleaning and putting vessels away along with the other scheduled EM’s. In addition, the sacristan lights the candles at the altar and oversees the sign–in process for the Eucharistic Ministers and fills any last minute vacancies at the Mass. Formation is provided.
