New Parishioners Ministry Member Information

New Parishioners Ministry is our new–parishioner welcoming committee that extends a warm welcome to all newly registered parishioners in our community. Each month a letter from our pastor, Father John T. McDonough, and a letter from the New Parishioners Ministry are mailed to the newly registered families. These letters not only include a warm welcome, but also inform the parishioners of the many organizations and ministries we have in our parish, and encourage them to offer their talent and any interests they may have. The ministry hosts two welcoming receptions each year to formally welcome families into the community.

In addition, arrangements are made to have a representative from the New Parishioners Ministry meet with the new parishioners at a Sunday Mass they will be attending. At that time, a representative will introduce him or herself and ask if they wish to be introduced by our Pastor at mass, as new parishioners. They will also be invited to join the other parishioners after mass, for our Coffee Social.
