Infant Baptism Ministry Member Information

The emphasis today in infant baptism is on the faith of the family. This is a time for renewal of family and personal spiritual life. It is also a time for parents and families to get connected to the parish and to become full, active, and participating members. We bring the child for baptism because of our own faith. In choosing baptism for an infant, the parents and the community accept the responsibility to continue the initiation of the baptized through the Eucharist and Confirmation and growth towards Christian maturity.

Families must be registered in the parish and actively participating for 6 months prior to your child’s baptism. Arrangements for Baptism can be made by calling the parish office — parents may do this prior to the birth of their child.
