Pastoral Council Member Information
The Parish Pastoral Council is formed in response to the Second Vatican Council and Canon 536. Using a shared wisdom model of decision making, the council develops, monitors and evaluates objectives of the parish vision. The Parish Pastoral Council assists the pastor in policy development, fostering spirituality within the parish, communicating between parish leadership and parishioners, and promoting communication and understanding among and between parish organizations, parishioners, the diocese, and the universal church.
